Two weeks ago, at the suggestion of my sister, I made a trip to Rue 21. As I wandered through the store, I began to see signs that said *Sale $6!* and then, *Sale Buy one Get one for $1! "Wow" I thought, "that's pretty cool." But then, as I reached the very back of the store, I saw what could only be described as every girl's dream come true; racks of clothes, as far as the eye could see, marked $2, and $3!!! So then, I obviously did what any sane fashionable woman would do; I began frantically pawing through the clothing, loading up my arms with anything that looked even remotely cute, and possibly my size, until I had a mound of clothes that I could barely carry, all while barking orders at my overwhelmed boyfriend, enlisting his help in grabbing things!
After all was said and done, I ended up spending about $40!
With that $40, I purchased; a pair of shoes for $5, ten pairs of socks for $3, 5 pairs of underwear for $7.50, a bra for $3, two pairs of high-waisted shorts for $2 each, two dresses for $2 each, two pairs of leggings for $2 and $3, a skirt for $2, and two half-shirts for $2 each!
So yea, I was satisfied!
Here are some of the many treasures I picked up!
Left; some of the socks from my ten pack, and my galaxy leggings!
Right; my blue high-waisted shorts (I looove high waisted shorts!), bra, socks, and the $5 shoes!
Outfit of the Week!
I wore this outfit when I was at Kalahari two days ago with my love (above with me), and two of our friends, to go to the night club!
What I Wore:
-A 'Love' Half-shirt that I got from Rue 21 for $2
-High-waisted shorts that I got from Rue 21 for $2
-Canvas shoes that I got from 5 Below (this amaaaazing store that everything is $5 and below!) for $5!
I'm pretty sure the sale is still going on! The online store has some sales (sadly not as good as the one I went to), so I'd check out your local Rue 21...fast!
And don't forget to share this on facebook and pin it! Thanks!

Today is national Small Business Saturday, and I am so happy about it! I am so excited to see that the importance of small businesses is being noticed and appreciated! If you regularly read this blog, you have probably seen my "Support Small Businesses" posts that I ocassionally write; I find incredible small businesses, run by incredible world-changing people, and tell you all about them! It is extremely important to support small businesses. Small businesses are the backbone of this country! I would much rather buy from, and support a small, local business, where I know I'm helping the owner not only make a living for them and their family, but also follow their dream, than shop at chain stores like Wal Mart, who make their owners billions, and pay their employees meager wages that they can barely live on. What about you?!
Won't you join me in supporting small businesses?!
In honor of Small Business Saturday, check out, and support these incredible small businesses today!
My very first "Support Small Businesses" Post was about my boyfriend's sister's photography business, "Lauren LaPinta Photography." She did a fantastic Pinup Zombie photo shoot with me and Nick, and I wrote about it, and shared pictures of that, as well as other photos she's done. If you need engagement, birthday, family, or a zombie photo shoot, check out my article on Lauren LaPinta Photography here.
My second Support Small Businesses Post was about my wonderful boyfriend; he is an insanely good tattoo artist. You can read my post about him and get ahold him for a custom tattoo here.
I did a piece on my very own Financial Coaching and E-Course, that I am selling for $10. Find out what it all includes, how I came up with the price, how it can change your life, and how to purchase it, here.
Rebel Hair Wear was the first business I wrote about that I didn't personally know the owner. I found their incredible products on Instagram, and instantly asked her about writing a piece. Their hair accessories are absolutely stunning! Find them here.
I of course wrote a piece about my very own small business; this website! Read that here.
InerTIA's Hoops is my latest Support Small Businesses Post. I have known Tia for a while, and have been delighted to watch her grow into a very world-conscious, open-minded, and now, business-minded adorable hippie! She is making and selling her own hoops, and even offering hooping lessons! Read my article all about her here.
Coco's Confitures is a great business that I have just recently learned about. I haven't written a post about them yet, but here is their website to check them out until then!
And my next "Support Small Businesses" Post that is in the writing, is about an incredible business called Amazing Creams and Lotions. Stay tuned in the next two weeks to learn all about this incredible, life (and world)-changing business!
Thanks for reading everyone! Now, just take a minute to sit back, and think about how life altering it could be, if everyone decided to support their small local businesses; Less corporate greed, more evenly distributed wealth! The possibilities are endless! Now go on out and support these, and any other small business you can find!
Peace Love and Small Businesses

Money Saving Secret #11. Save (and roll) your change.
In the last couple months, me and the boyfriend have gotten very serious about saving money, and doing our budgets. So, my genius boyfriend came up with an idea of what we should do with our change. We both have piggy banks (he has a Perry the Platypus one, and I have an adorable pig that I got in an arcade in China), and whenever we have change, we put it in our piggy banks. We have gotten GOOD at this! We can spot a penny on the ground from 3 feet away now! Whenever we see change laying on the ground, we scream "DATE NIGHT!" at the top of our lungs, then run and grab the change (yes, even if it's only a penny)! It is a blast! Then, twice a month, we dump all our change out, roll it ourselves (those machines that roll it for you take a percent of all the money you put in! I don't want to give any of my money away!), and with the money, go out on a date!
It is really cool, because we are so focused on saving all our money, that we don't have a lot left over for stuff like dates. Saving all your money and rarely spending any of it can be hard (kind of like going on a strict diet and not eating a single unhealthy thing; eventually you will break down and go crazy eating cake!), so it is so incredible to be able to go out twice a month, have a great date, and not feel like we never get to do anything because
we're being extra cautious about money!
*Tip; You can get the change rolls at the bank, for free!*
We have went on a couple of these date nights now, and we usually have a little over $20 to go out to eat, and to the dollar theater!

Today, instead of a Money Management Monday, I wanted to do a Man Crush Monday!
This is only for this week, next week I will be back to doing Money Management Mondays, but I just wanted to pay a special compliment to my wonderful boyfriend, who is my Man Crush Mondays every Monday, and every other day of the week!
My man is the sweetest, most understanding, incredible person I have ever met. Not only does he still give me butterflies, and make me feel like I'm the only girl in the world, but he treats me like a princess every day, and loves me more than I could have ever imagined or hoped for! He is absolutely perfect for me, and I am so completely in love with him.
"Stand by Your Man" by Tammy Wynette
After saying how much I appreciate my man, I want to talk to you a little bit about showing appreciation to your man! If you are in a relationship, it is integral that you learn to show appreciation to your other half.
"If you want to have a healthy and functioning relationship, you need to start treating your other half how you want to be treated. That's it! Simple as that! That is how relationships last!" (-Me) I'm a waitress, and I constantly come across couples who are miserable; they make rude and sarcastic comments to each other (while I'm standing there! It's terrible!), and act so completely mean to each other, it's no wonder they're miserable!
Even if you've been together for so long that you feel like the magic is gone, you still need to show them how much you care about them and appreciate them, like you did when you first started dating! That is how the magic disappears; when you stop appreciating each other.
Me and my man have known each other for six years, and been dating for 2 1/2, and we still feel the same way we did about each other since the day we met. We are still madly in love, and can not get enough of each other. Most nights I don't even want to go to sleep, so I can stay up all night and talk to him! I know that 2 1/2 years is not a very long time compared to ten, fifteen, or even fifty years, but the way we feel about each other has not waned at all in these 2 1/2 years, in fact, it's gotten stronger! And I think that a lot of it has to do with the fact that we appreciate each other, and don't take each other for granted. Here's some of the ways we do that;
Nick makes me my coffee, and cooks me breakfast almost every morning, without me even asking.
I make Nick desserts and food that I know he loves (bacon pancakes!).
I made this folder on facebook, to show the world (and him) just how much I love and appreciate him.
We say we love each other at least five times a day, every day. And we say it with meaning.
We don't tune each other out by constantly being on our phones, watching tv, or having the radio on.
We compliment each other; even after six years of knowing him, I daily tell him how incredibly good looking he is!
We are always doing kind things for each other, just because we want to! We love the other person so much, that we just want to make them happy, and do nice things! Relationships are definitely a give and take thing, and you can't have one person doing all the giving, and the other doing all the taking. It's not fair to either person, and it just won't work.
So if you love your partner, and want them to be happy, do nice things for them! Take a moment out of your busy schedule to show some appreciation, it will not go un-noticed.
^^^Pssst! Why don't you buy your man something nice to show him how much you appreciate him?!^^^
Peace Love and Man Crush Mondays
I used to get sick alllll the time. Every winter, and every time anything was going around, I got it. But then it got even worse during the months of September and October, when I was working my regular job, plus working 25 hours every weekend at the Factory of Terror. It's super fun, but exhausting, and my body was taking it so hard, and would break down every time. So this year, I decided, that you know what, I'm NOT going to get sick! Not gonna do it! I had too many responsibilities with being a breaker at f.o.t, plus working my other job, plus writing on here! I decided that it was unacceptable for me to get sick. And I didn't! So since you readers are soooo amazing and awesome, I am going to share my secrets with you!
1. Take your vitamins.
You should already be taking a multivitamin every day. If not, start doing it. Continue doing it.
Take a garlic pill at the first sign of sickness, and keep it up every day. Garlic is amaaazing for your body.
2. Drink your ACV.
Every day, drink a mixture of 1-2 Tbs Apple Cider Vinegar, honey, and hot water.
This is what I do every time I feel myself getting the slightest bit sick, and it's gone every time I drink this miracle mixture.
3. Take a bath!
Baths are therapeutic for two reasons; (1) they are relaxing, calming, and stress-relieving. Stress can be a large factor in why people get sick (it's one of the big reasons I got sick during F.O.T season), so it's important, that if you start feeling overwhelmed and stressed, that you take a bath and put a stop to that so your body doesn't start breaking down on itself! (2) baths can also help you detox, and relieve sore muscles! In your bath water, pour a cup of Epsom salts, and a couple tbs of Baking Soda. These two ingredients will not only help detox your body, but they will help relieve your sore and achy muscles! Soak for at least twenty minutes! Read a book, listen to some music, or just close your eyes and relax.
4. Drink lots of water.
And orange juice, and hot tea.
And Mio! These things saved my life these past months! I don't like plain water, so I just put a couple squirts of Mio in all my water, and it allowed me to drink much more water than I normally would! I used the Energy Mio whenever I was at either of my jobs, and it was amazing how much energy it gave me! Unlike normal energy drinks, which are extremely unhealthy, and give you bad energy that you eventually crash from, Mio actually gives you a natural energy boost by using B Vitamins and other natural energy boosters! I felt incredible, and was able to perform both jobs much better than if I hadn't drank Mio!
5. Do not neglect yourself.
When you're busy, it can be very easy to forget about your feelings, your needs, and your wants. Don't do it! When you stop caring for yourself, your body will stop to care too! No matter how busy you are, there is always time for yourself! Take a bath, read a book, cook yourself something healthy and delicious, and read my article on 15 ways to be happy in 15 minutes or less!
and last of all, this one's a little out there, but read it, and try it! I fully believe in this!
6. Tell yourself, and your body, that you are not going to get sick.
The mind is a powerful thing! If you repeatedly tell yourself that you're not sick, and not going to get sick, you most likely won't! Here is a quote from one of the most amazing books ever written 'Think and Grow Rich' that sums it up nicely; "Our minds become magnetized with the dominating thoughts we hold in our minds and these magnets attract to us the forces, the people, the circumstances of life which harmonize with the nature of our dominating thoughts.”
All month long, when I felt a sniffle or sore throat, I just told myself that I'm not going to get sick! And I believed it, and in turn, my body did also!
So start preparing for this winter now! You don't have to get sick!
Peace Love and Health
Hey everybody, thank you so much for all of your support and love on this blog, you mean the world to me, and make such a difference!
I know that my posts have been a little scarce during October (they usually are, due to me working two jobs during Factory of Terror Season), but you guys stayed with me, and kept reading anyways! You are AWESOME!
So to thank all of you for being amazing, once November starts, I will not only be posting a lot more, but I will continue with my "Money Management Mondays" and "World Changing Wednesdays" bi-weekly posts! Yay! PLUS! My next post will be informing all you wonderful people on my tricks "How to not get sick this winter!"

"Tia Danay Fry, I’m from Wooster Ohio, and I’ve found my niche~
My small business is Inertia’s Hoops, it basically developed from my passion for movement/dancing and my more recent passion for hooping, I knew that I wanted to start sharing what dancing and hula hooping meant to me, and spreading that love with other people, which then lead me to creating and designing my own hoops.
Prices are still being developed… A standard beginner hoop runs between $28.00 and $32.00 so with that being said I promise my products to be affordable and durable ;) , I make everything from beginner hoops to performance and practice poly pro hoops. Randomly a friend of mine was helping me come up with a performance name and InerTia was born! So Inertia’s Hoops fit naturally, I also am trying to get into offering classes in the community that would be offered in the afternoons once a week.
My love for life as increased so much since my little sacred circle came into my life, my last semester of my freshmen year of college. I feel more centered and grounded and not to mention beautiful, getting in touch with the interconnectivity of the world we live in is super important to me and everyone deserves to feel and achieve such bliss. Hooping isn’t just fun to do and physically healthy but mentally and spiritually healthy as well.
When I start offering class I will have a ten minute portion in the beginning of basic breathing and centering yourself within the hoop, a mini prayer or meditation if you will. I really look forward to seeing where this business leads myself.
Awesome! I love finding people who have discovered their passion in life, and then create a business that is as unique and creative as them!
So go and check out Inertia's Hoops!
Peace Love and Hooping
My second Halloween in China, with my adorable friends (we didn't have costume shops, so we improvised, and every costume was made from my own wardrobe)!

Halloween is comin around the corner (yay!)! So I have for you a special Halloween edition Outfit of the Week!!!
Have you picked out your costume yet?!! For those of you who haven't, I've gathered up some pictures (ok a lot of pictures) of my various Halloween outfits over the years for inspiration! I hand made a lot of my costumes, which is super fun to do, and even the costumes you can see that I bought, I found a way to make them mine. And that's the secret to looking awesome (and not spending hundreds of dollars) on Halloween; make the costume yours, with clothes you already have, random makeup, hair accessories, jewelry, and a lot of imagination!
I was a baby doll! This costume was made completely from stuff I already owned, and I loved it!
A Vampire! My first Halloween in China, and once again it's completely home-made.
A kitty kat! I bought the tail, ears, and gloves.
Me and my friend. A frog, and a pumpkin! I was living in Colorado at the time, so we wanted to be warm. Haha I loooved these costumes!
Sailor Jerry Pinup Girl! I bought the costume at a Garage Sale for 75 cents! Then I added my own stockings, garter, red lipstick, and Sailor Jerry Bottle to make it my own!
Me and my Mad Scientist Boyfriend
I found this Child's Batman costume at a Thrift Store! And I loved it!
