I have told you before about the thrift store right by my parent's house, which I consider to be the greatest thrift store in the world, and so of course me and my mom had to go there and go crazy!
I ended up spending a grand total of $17.04, and for that, I got 2 books, a soap dish, and 8 pieces of clothing! Yeah, I was pretty happy!
Check out my video to see all 8 of these pieces, as well as the 5 complete (adorable) summer outfits I made with them!
Betty Boop shirt by No Fear- $.50
Skirt by Zanana Premium - $2.50
Recycle Today for Tomorrow by Cold Crush - $.50
Shorts by Eye Candy - $3.00
Jean shorts from Rue 21- $3.00
By Nanette- $6.00
OBSESSED.
I really hope it inspired you.
Because I believe that shopping at thrift stores is a very important way to not only save money (which is pretty obvious!), but to help greatly reduce our carbon footprint! The majority of the fashion industry (though some are making strides), is not very sustainable, or eco-friendly, and thrifting is a super exciting way to have a great wardrobe without supporting the brands that are doing harm to our environment.
And ya'll know how I feel about saving money (stop wasting your precious money buying ridiculously overpriced clothes! Ok rant over).
So start shopping for your next seasonal wardrobe at your local thrift store! Fall here we come!
