Peace Love and Australia

After five years, it is finally here; the final post to my Top Ten Places to Travel Series! All ten of these were places that I had visited before I started this blog, so I used this series to revisit those places, and have a chance to share with you some of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. But don't worry, I will continue writing about my world travels on here!
Yes, I have been to Australia! It was not my favorite country, as I prefer third world countries, and places very different from America, but it was still a very cool place to visit! And since I am constantly hearing people say that Australia is one of their top places to visit, I wanted to tell you all about it, and give you a list of must-dos in the land down under (Oh, and that's Karla, don't mind her, we brought her along with us to three different countries and had a blast with her, you might be seeing more of her popping up)!
Of course a must-see in Australia is the Sydney Opera House! Not only is it one of the most famous buildings in the world, but it is stunning to see (and super fun to take pictures at!).
Find some kangaroos!
Or a koala! This little guy was at an animal sanctuary. Don't try to find one in the wild, not only are they endangered, but there are strict laws surrounding them.
Oh hey Karla!
Don't forget that they drive on the other side of the road than us Americans do!
Walk around beautiful downtown...
...and do some underground shopping!
The beach is my happy place, so it was no surprise that my favorite part of Australia was visiting its many beaches! We visited a couple different beaches, and they were all absolutely breathtaking! We went to some busier and more touristy beaches, but we also knew someone who lived there, so she took us to a secluded local beach as well! If you love crystal clear waters with every color of blue imaginable, then Australian beaches are for you, they are completely perfect!
Don't have a raft? An inflatable mattress is a blast!
So now that my Top Ten Places to Travel Series has concluded, what was your favorite?! Which one made you want to hop on a plane right away and never come back? Here are all ten of them to refresh your memory! Comment below telling me which was your favorite!
Is Australia on your bucket list?! If it wasn't before, it probably is now! So don't forget to add it to your list, so you can begin working toward that goal! If you're worried about finances (Australia is a bit expensive), re-read my post about my #1 Secret to Saving Money for Travel, so you can start planning your trip to Australia (or your favorite from the above list)!

Hello dear readers! Today I have something fun for you, something that I have never written about before... Wigs! I was contacted by Omgnb.com about writing an article on their wigs and hair pieces, and, with my propensity for all things girly, cute, and hair, I of course, had to say yes! For the first hair piece I picked out, of course it had to be pink, and of course it had to be super crazy, fun, and completely over the top! If you are searching for a Cosplay Wig look no further, Omgnb.com has literally hundreds of them (and I want them all!)! Any length, color, and style, don't worry, you will find it. The next piece I picked out is a little (ok a lot!) more normal, because let's face it even though I might want to, most people don't want to walk around with anime hair for everyday life! Omgnb.com has a huge selection of Clip in Human Hair Extensions. A Clip in Human Hair Extension is exactly what you need if you're trying to cover up the awkward stages of growing out bangs. It is also great for adding volume and fullness to your mane, throwing in a dash of color (that you can take out for work!), or just for that perfect Veronica Lake hair over the eyes look you've been trying to achieve! You can find any color, length, and even straight and curly clip in hair extensions. The last piece I have for you today is the Lace Front Wig for Women. A lace front wig is exactly what it sounds like; a wig in which there is lace in the front (you can see it in this picture). The great thing about the lace front wig is that it allows the user to choose a hairline, part it any way they want, and give the appearance of a natural hairline. So in other words, they look much more real! I hope you enjoyed this different post today, and that you will check out Omgnb.com's vast selection of wigs, extensions, and hair pieces! Have a great Monday, and a great rest of your week! *Disclosure* I was selected for this opportunity by Omgnb.com, and the content and opinions expressed here are all my own. Peace Love and Wigs Jess <3
Happy 2017 to all!
I hope you had a wonderful New Years, and a great first week of 2017! Did you read my last post about how to move past a bad year and look forward to a new one? It has some great tips for setting realistic goals (as opposed to resolutions), simplifiying your life, and having a great year. This year I decided to simplify my goals a bit, because we have some pretty big goals and plans in the year ahead of us, and I didn't want to get too caught up in small goals and get distracted from the big ones. So we'll see how this goes for me!
- Go on our honeymoon
- Move to Georgia - Open a tattoo shop - Make an Instagram for the tattoo shop - Have a 30th Birthday Photo Shoot (Yes I will be 30 this year!!!) - Be a beautiful 30 year old - Have 5,000 Instagram followers - Post 12 sponsored articles to the blog - Get recognized (I already got recognized by someone from my Instagram last year [which was totally cool], and this year I want to get recognized from my blog!) - Have more energy and feel great - Do acting, modeling, singing - Read "The Secret" - Start tattooing - Have 700 Facebook likes What are your goals for this shiny new year? Peace Love and 2017 Jess <3 |
