Peace Love and Love

Two years ago today, the love of my life asked me to be his girlfriend, and I was SO happy that we were finally going to be together (we had known each other for three years)! Still to this day, two years later, I still can't believe that he chose me, and I can't believe how incredibly lucky I am! Nick, you are the love of my life. You are everything that I am not. In every area of my life that I lack, you make up for it; you literally complete me. You are tall and strong so I can fit perfectly in your arms and feel safe, you are completely scatterbrained and spontaneous to keep me from being too uptight and organized, yet you are down to earth enough to get me excited about and plan for a steady future, instead of running to a different country every weekend, and you are so wonderfully calm, so you can keep me and my emotions in check when I am about to freak out! You are the only thing on this earth that can make me feel better when I feel like everything is out of control and collapsing. You are my rock, without you I would fall apart, and be so very lost. Before you, I was happy; but that's only because I never knew the happiness I have now was even possible! You blow my mind every single day, and every single day I fall more in love with you than the day before! I never even knew that was possible! I never knew I could feel this way about another human being! You give my life purpose, you give me hope and excitement for the future, you encourage and motivate me more than I deserve, and believe in me more than I even believe in myself! After knowing you for 5 years, and being with you for 2, I still get butterflies when you smile at me, and I still feel like I'm floating like a little red balloon every time you kiss me. You add excitement, laughter, hope, and so much joy to my existence. You are everything to me, and I can't imagine, and don't want to imagine, a life or a future without you in it, because you are my life, and you are my future. No matter what happens to me, if I have you, I will be happy, and even if I don't accomplish everything I wanted to in my life, if I make you as happy as you make me, I will know that I'm successful , and I will be happy. You are so wonderful, so caring, so kind, and so completely beautiful, that sometimes I wonder what I did to deserve you. I am so happy and thankful for these two years, but it's only just the beginning. I am eternally in love with you, and forever grateful for finding you, my soul mate. Happy Anniversary Babe. Peace Love and Love Jess <3

It's now July, which is the middle of the year, so I think that now is a good time to check in and see how your 2013 goals are going! Get out your Goal Sheets and look them over. Here's mine! Every goal that I have completed is in red, and all the goals that I'm on track for (like drink 5 cups of water a day), are in orange.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Now, we go through each goal individually. You need to write down where you're at with each goal, then figure out what you need to do for the rest of the year. Ex, one of my financial goals for this year was to make $13,000. The first half of the year I made $3,900.17. So I subtract that from my goal of 13,000. I then divide that number by 6 (the number of months left in the year), and that is how much money I need to make a month from July to December! I love this, because it gives me something to work towards, and I know exactly what I need to do to reach my goal! So here is my goal list! After you read it, start yours!
*Make $13,000- I have made $3,900.17 so far this year (my two months off work really put me behind! But oh well, I still got this!). So I need to make another $9,099.83 by the end of the year. Which means I need to make $1,516.64 a month from now until December. Got it!:D *Save $500 for California/traveling- I have $300 saved for Cali/traveling, so I only need to save $200 more by the end of the year! *Save $1,000 for a house- I have $400 saved for a house so far. So July-December I need $600. No problem, only $100 a month! *Save $200 for retirement- I have $100 saved for retrement, only $100 more, about $17 a month! *Save $700 for my wedding- I have $300 saved so far for my wedding. Only $400 to go! Less than $100 a month! *Do yoga 3 times a week- Doing (and sometimes my love does it with me too! Which is grand!) *Drink 5 cups of water a day- Doing. *Eat 1 tbs. coconut oil a day- Doing. *Eat healthier homemade food- Doing! *Model- Besides the Zombie shoot, and modeling for my own clothing line, I haven't done as much as I want. Working on it! *10,000 pageviews in one month- I have got 6,005 pageviews in March. I need to almost double that number! *Find a place to sell my crafts- Right here! And I'm in the talks for another place, HOPEFULLY! I'll let you know if it works out! *Get my band started up again- Not yet. Still trying to figure out schedules and such. *Give $456 to Compassion- I have so far given $286 to Compassion. *Buy jewelry from Eden- I bought a necklace and a pair of earrings. They make great gifts! And they're beautiful and not expensive! SUCH a great cause! Visit the website! *Study Chinese 3 times a week- In the process of doing. *Be able to do a split- Working on it. *Go on a cruise to the Bahamas- Done! *Go to China or India- Done! *Go to Abbey Road on the River in Kentucky- Done (I'll be posting pictures from that very soon)! *See my brother's band play 2 times- Done! So now I have taken a closer look at my goals, and know what I have to do the rest of the year in order to reach those goals! Amazing! So don't forget to do this super important step! It will help you achieve what you wanted to in the year 2o13 (it's halfway over!!! So get goin!) Peace Love and halfway thru 2013 Jess <3
Hello everyone! First, I just want to take a minute to apologize for not posting a Money Management Monday last Monday. Things have been a little crazy in my life the past couple weeks; I am now a bartender at my work! So now I'm waitressing two nights a week there, and bartending two nights a week! It was pretty sudden, I went into work on Wednesday and my manager called me into his office and said; "Tonight you're behind the bar training, and tomorrow you're bartending by yourself." (!) So yea, it was pretty crazy, and I was kind of just thrown into it, but I like it! It's something different, and for me, that's always good! And also, my car broke down last week, so it's in the shop now, so there's just been a bunch of things happening lately that got me completely sidetracked! But, I'm back now! So here we have Money Management Mondays Part 6!!!
1. Don't own a smart phone. 2. Don't have a car payment. 3. Don't smoke cigarettes. 4. Don't play the lottery. 5. Purchase my Financial E-Course.
Money Saving Secret #6. I live cheaply.
This tip is actually a lot of little tips! I live VERY cheaply, and I know that it's not possible for everyone to live as cheap as me, but everyone can do at least some of these! The cheaper you live, the more money you can save for vacations, a house, etc.! -I don't buy pop (or bottled water, or any drink) from gas stations. I know that sometimes it's a quick easy fix, but if you do this every day, you are spending sooo much money that you don't even realize! Instead, buy drinks in bulk (or at least in 12 packs) from surplus or scratch n dent stores. Or better yet, drink water from home! -One of my major money savers is that I live in a house with 6 other people. I live with my parents, 2 brothers, sister, and my boyfriend. This allows my rent to be INCREDIBLY cheap. I know that not everybody can just move back in with their parents to save money (but if you are able to, it helps a LOT. Even if you just stay there long enough to save enough money for your own hose), but maybe try getting a roommate or 2 to help relieve the burden of rent. -I barely ever spend money on going out to eat. Eating at home, is much healthier, and WAY cheaper. -Eat cheaper foods. Cheap/healthy/delicious foods are; eggs, pasta, vegetables, rice, casseroles, stir frys, canned soups, cereal, ferena, and oatmeal! You will save so much money if you start cooking instead of ordering in food, or buying ready prepared food at the grocery store! Even if you do it a couple nights a week, you will see the difference! Well, there was Money Management Mondays Part 6! Hope you enjoyed, and I'll see ya next Monday! :) Peace Love and MMM Jess <3 |
