Hello everyone! First, I just want to take a minute to apologize for not posting a Money Management Monday last Monday. Things have been a little crazy in my life the past couple weeks; I am now a bartender at my work! So now I'm waitressing two nights a week there, and bartending two nights a week! It was pretty sudden, I went into work on Wednesday and my manager called me into his office and said; "Tonight you're behind the bar training, and tomorrow you're bartending by yourself." (!) So yea, it was pretty crazy, and I was kind of just thrown into it, but I like it! It's something different, and for me, that's always good! And also, my car broke down last week, so it's in the shop now, so there's just been a bunch of things happening lately that got me completely sidetracked! But, I'm back now! So here we have Money Management Mondays Part 6!!!

1. Don't own a smart phone.
2. Don't have a car payment.
3. Don't smoke cigarettes.
4. Don't play the lottery.
5. Purchase my Financial E-Course.

Money Saving Secret #6. I live cheaply.

This tip is actually a lot of little tips! I live VERY cheaply, and I know that it's not possible for everyone to live as cheap as me, but everyone can do at least some of these! The cheaper you live, the more money you can save for vacations, a house, etc.!

-I don't buy pop (or bottled water, or any drink) from gas stations. I know that sometimes it's a quick easy fix, but if you do this every day, you are spending sooo much money that you don't even realize! Instead, buy drinks in bulk (or at least in 12 packs) from surplus or scratch n dent stores. Or better yet, drink water from home!

-One of my major money savers is that I live in a house with 6 other people. I live with my parents, 2 brothers, sister, and my boyfriend. This allows my rent to be INCREDIBLY cheap. I know that not everybody can just move back in with their parents to save money (but if you are able to, it helps a LOT. Even if you just stay there long enough to save enough money for your own hose), but maybe try getting a roommate or 2 to help relieve the burden of rent.

-I barely ever spend money on going out to eat. Eating at home, is much healthier, and WAY cheaper.

-Eat cheaper foods. Cheap/healthy/delicious foods are; eggs, pasta, vegetables, rice, casseroles, stir frys, canned soups, cereal, ferena, and oatmeal! You will save so much money if you start cooking instead of ordering in food, or buying ready prepared food at the grocery store! Even if you do it a couple nights a week, you will see the difference!

Well, there was Money Management Mondays Part 6!
Hope you enjoyed, and I'll see ya next Monday! :)

    I'm Jessica!

I've traveled all over the world, but Ohio is where I call home. I'm a lifestyle & travel blogger, and author. I love setting goals, reading, and snuggling up with my fur babies. I can usually be found at my local thrift store, or in the hammock in my backyard.
