mind, then your body's still not going to be in balance.
There are plenty of different ways for you to relax and clear your mind and refresh your spirit. Today I am going to talk about two of my favorites.
Journaling and the Mind Clearing Exercise.
Journaling:
Journaling is always a good way to relax, get your feelings out, and calm down. It's a good thing to do before bed, because there's something about writing down all your emotions and feelings about the day, that make it easier to fall asleep. Kind of like, well, this day is
over, and I'm gonna write down the details about it, so I'll never forget this day. Then once you've done that, you're ready for what the next day has in store. I've been journaling since I was in Jr. High, and I looove going back and reading all about the different times in my life. If you don't believe that journals are powerful conveyors of emotions, then take into consideration, that while reading through my old journals, I've laughed uncontrollably, blushed, and cried my heart out. When you read it, it takes you back to that time, when that thing happened to you. So for me, journaling is amazing. Try it. Just write whatever comes to your mind. Whatever you did that day that you want to remember, or anything that stuck
out to you. Not only will it relax you in the moment, but you will have it saved to read later on in your life, and that is priceless.
I got this exercise from the book cleanse purify energize; Sensible Detox Strategies to Improve Your Whole Health by Charmaine Yabsley. This book is incredible, I highly recommend reading it. I love this exercise because it is quick, and you can do it whenever your feeling a bit frazzled or out of it.
Find a quiet, comfortable place to sit. Place your cupped hands over your eyes, then close your eyes. Take a deep breath and concentrate on allowing the stresses and strains to leave your body. Hold this position for at least ten breaths, then remove your hands from your eyes. Slowly open your eyes and focus on your surroundings. Remain seated comfortably for a few more minutes enjoying the feeling of peacefulness.
And that's all you have to do! Try doing this every morning after you wake up, and see how you feel!
Well that's it for today, try these two exercises, and leave comments telling me how it was, and how you feel! :)
